We view our culture as fundamentally important to our business as it is one of our key enablers. In essence we strive to encourage innovation, collaboration, teamwork and knowledge sharing; reward is based on ideas for growing collective value not on competition between individuals or cellular companies.
We also wanted to create a truly entrepreneurial environment where our people would be empowered to actively contribute to the development of our business. As a result we have instigated a number of key initiatives:
- Open non-hierarchical culture/structure.
- Everyone empowered to propose ideas for viable new business ventures; subsequently to play a key role in developing that business.
- Everyone empowered to contribute ideas towards business strategy.
