The 'Expert' System

Within extrinsica, as part of our knowledge-based approach, we have nominated 'experts in various specialisations. These people are at the cutting edge of their specialisations and have built up their expertise over a number of years as practitioners implementing real-world solutions for clients. Their expertise is not just limited abstract or theoretical learning but is based on real world application.

Our knowledge processes enable us to access the expert knowledge by placing a specific responsibility upon experts to transfer their newly acquired knowledge by a variety of means. This means that it is easily accessible to other members of the company and can be used for the benefit of clients even though the expert may not be physically present.

Profile

David is a certified CCTA and APM Prince 2 practitioner. He has been involved in IT project related work for the last 12 year within the Public and Private sectors. He has recently been responsible for the introduction of a £1m+ computer system for a major government department. This has involved the use of his considerable project management, people and technical skills in defining all aspects of the project from platform capacity requirements to the planning and overseeing of the installation, configuration and move into operational use.
